IT Systems Engineer II

A new and exciting role for an IT Systems Engineer (level I or II depending on experience) to join a growing team of an industry leading aerospace company.

In this role the Systems Engineer II is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing infrastructure platforms that support engineering, manufacturing, and corporate operations. This role independently delivers complex infrastructure solutions and assumes ownership of core platform areas across hybrid datacenter and cloud environments.

Responsibilities
• Design and implement infrastructure solutions aligned with established architectural standards.
• Own and maintain core infrastructure platforms such as virtualization, identity, storage, or cloud services. Lead complex system deployments, upgrades, and migrations.
• Engineer highly available and resilient systems supporting operational workloads.
• Evaluate performance and capacity requirements and implement improvements.

Minimum Qualifications
• 3+ years experience implementing and supporting enterprise infrastructure.
DevOps skills
- Terraform
- Ansible
- Cloud (AWS + Azure)
- Automation

Previous IT System Administrator experience
- Active Directory/GPO
- Windows
- Linux
- MDM

Important:

• Role is a full-time position, hybrid, and based in Los Angeles
• Salary is between $150k - $185k depending on experience, base plus generous stock options ($200k+), medical, vision & dental coverage as well as access to a 401(k) retirement plan
• US citizenship is mandatory
