I first met Rodney as a candidate, back in 1999, were he was looking to place me at Deutshce Bank. Unfortunately for Rodney, I accepted a role with Morgan Stanley. However, we kept in touch. Subsequently, a couple of years later, Rodney placed me with a Hedge Fund, which turned out to be the best role I’ve ever had. Since our first meeting, I've climbed the ladder into senior management positions and when it came to looking for new staff, Rodney was always my first point of contact. Over the years, I have spoken to numerous recruitment agents and the vast majority are not interested in building a lasting business connection. Rodney is quite unique, he’ll call just to see how things are, to maintain that relationship. 20 years on, we are still in touch and I look forward to the next 20 years.
